Yosemite Trip

The kids and I went to Yosemite at the end of the month. It was cold, white and lovely. We were able to sled, see the falls (they had never seen falls cause they were always dry in August when we went), and ice skate (1st time for all of them).

White Elephant Sale

I wanted to post some photos of my trip to this years Oakland Museums White Elephant Sale. I went today with my Mom and house mate Mary. It was her first time and just as I suspected she loved it. I found great things for me and my shop.

I'll start off with our favorite place to shop, the sewing area. Here are a few shots of things we saw and found there:

Here is where I found a fabulous hat and vintage umbrella which I fully intend to use. I also found a great pair of vintage sunglasses. I love the idea of wearing stockings and so I had to take a pic of them. Finally, the pillow is a great vintage Niagra Falls Memory that my mother took home.

I know it's been way to long for an update. I have had a busy last 4+ months. I went from a full time job to re-enrolling in Art College. I have recently updated my shop and opened a co-op etsy shop with my housemate Mary, www.centralave.etsy.com. I updated my profile pic and will post some great photos from my trip to Yosemite last week.
