Sisters

I just had to share this great picture of all the dolls I had lined up waiting for homes. The look like they are getting ready for tea or coffee.

Working Hard!

I am desperately working on many projects at once for the store. I hope to have some new dolls posted this week as well as some fun new items.

I had a funny conversation with Emma's teachers this week. They were mentioning how much she draws during class. In fact they can't seem to get her to focus on anything else. (Sounds like someone else huh?) They were saying that she was drawing stuff up for me to make and mentioning to them all the things I have been making. They didn't believe her. I then told them that not only do I make those things but that she is "designing" for me on a continual basis. One of them said "You should take her to Build the Bear Workshop" The other one immediately chimed in with, "I don't think she needs to take her anywhere. It sounds like she lives in her own Build the Bear Workshop." That cracks me up!

Welcome!

This is my first posting. With the launch of my new online store http://theenchantedsquare.etsy.com/ and friends asking me to blog for years I've finally decided to go for it. For the last month, while insanely sewing away, I have been thinking about what I would blog about. Tonight is what finally did it for me. I was making homemade chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches for the kids (YUM!) and as I was looking at them I thought this is what I like to share. Of course it would be great if you could eat them with us
but I guess a picture will have to do.

I do want to add that I launched my new online craft business, The Enchanted Square, this week. I am so excited that I am able to be able to create these lovely things for others. Being able to get my hands on all these yummy fabrics and make beautiful things from them is so satisfying to me. I would love to hear what you think of my new shop on the great craft site etsy.com. Hopefully my cute little mini-cards will arrive soon so I can pass them out. I ordered them from the UK from this great print shop http://moo.com/. I love that they are so compact.
Look for more postings and store updates.
